Jawsome Sharks

This year, the Easter arrives earlier, with the debut of the zebra shark in the tunnel with 500.000 litters of water. Living in the Ray Bay over the last year, it finally moved to the SEA LIFE Porto’s main tank since it is already able to share the waters of the other in-house sharks.
The zebra shark, an endangered species, is distinguished from other sharks by its shape and colour: when they are young, they have black vertical stripes that resemble a zebra. When they grow up, their colour becomes lighter with dark spots.
SEA LIFE Porto opens the "Jawsome Sharks", an initiative that invites kids and adults to get their hands to help the Mad Scientist find the missing shark’s teeth. There are also interactive games to learn more about the hundreds of shark species that exist on our planet and daily lectures on shark myths and facts, and mini-talks. At the end of it, these creatures will be fed.
