Fairs and markets take vintage items and crafts to different parts of the city

August can be for vacationing or for leisure time, but nevertheless it does not miss out on the traditions that during the year buzz the city on the weekends. Check out the calendar of fairs and markets for the coming days.

Mercado de Artesanato do Porto

Fridays and Saturdays are dedicated to the city's traditional craftsmanship together with major creativity. From 9 am to 8 pm, between Praça Parada Leitão and the lateral side of the Rectory of the University of Porto, dozens of artisans gather in this market promoted by the Municipality of Porto.

Mercado Porto Belo

Not far away, between 10 am and 7 pm next Saturday, August 9th, takes place the Mercado Porto Belo. Inspired by the iconic Portobello in London, this fair you can find, for example, vintage cameras, illustrations, design pieces, organic products, among other items.

Feira da Vandoma

In Campanhã, the weekend begins with the selling of the finest junk. On Avenida 25 de Abril, every Saturday, between 8 am and 1 pm, is the emblematic Feira da Vandoma, where you can find all kinds of used items: clothes, crockery, furniture and decorative items, records, books, electrical and / or electronic apparatus, household or work utensils (tools).

Mercado da Alegria

On the western part of the city and, this month, as part of the festivities of São Bartolomeu, the Mercado da Alegria / Mercado de São Bartolomeu takes to Jardim do Passeio Alegre, next Sunday, from 10 am, a wide range of costume jewellery, jewellery, fashion accessories, decorative objects and also savoury pastries, jams, cheese or beverages, among other products.
